Unsupported Fanvil Firmware upgrade

Does anyone know how to upgrade the firmware of a Fanvil i10 device. I have tried the instructions from Fanvil over and over and over again. Will not upgrade.

The setting show that you can select a file from a local directory. But when I try this, the directory select shows "C:\fakepath\". According to what I find, this should not impact the actual file upload to the device, but the system will give a PID error mismatch and reboot.

I don't seem to be able to get an ftp site setup properly to allow the system to do a download of the file.

PID error would mean that it might be the wrong firmware for this product, if it means "Product ID".

If your device is a few versions behind, you might have to install the in-between versions first otherwise the device might fail to jump directly to the last version.

If those files are not available or it is still failing regardless, you might have better luck contacting Fanvil support directly.
