Fanvil PA questions

Hi all,

we're about to stick in a PA for a customer and have a few questions on possibilities.

is it possible to play an audio file when a group of extensions are being rung?

scenario would be, calls would come out out of hours to a group of extensions and the PA could alert over the speakers there is a call.

This would remove the need for us to use ATA's to get bells to ring.

Similarly, if a door bell (fanvil i18) was rung, the PA could play audio to notify.

As I understand it: there is a ringing somewhere (in a ring group) and the PA3 should play audio without the call being answered, right? It is conceivable that you could change the ringtone of the PA3 so that the ringtone is the announcement without the call being answered.

Otherwise I think this probably only works with a CFD app as a parallel call from a dummy extension (call mobile also) and this mobile number is a CFD app. We've had this somewhere before, otherwise I'd have to play through it again. It is like a busylight, for example, only with audio.

Is this a 3CX v18 or v20?
