I just picked up a Fanvil PA2 to see how it works with 3CX, and also picked up the PA2-KIT. The Kit contains a speaker, Mic, camera, and button. I'm wondering if anyone has experience provisioning these units with the kit. The Speaker and Mic are fairly straight forward, as is the headset line out, and I'm not interested in the camera yet. The button is what I'm most interested in right now, but I just can't seem to get a handle of. I have tried adding a speed dial, custom speed dial, and BLF but none of these options seem to change the function key programming in the phone when I check the unit itself. Does anyone know how to get 3CX to provision the DSS Key for the button?

I'm hoping I can use the DSS Key as a panic button for receptionists, or as an intercom in custom areas.

I found a video from a few years back about manually programming the unit (possibly from before it was templated) but in my experience it is best to let the PBX do the provisioning.

If you look at item 3 under Local Network or SBC in Step 4, you can see how to configure the DSS key.
=> Select Speed Dial for BLF 1 and choose the extension to be dialed.

What I've done for a Fanvil i12 (unsupported intercom) is to manually configure the DSS key as a Hot Key with the subtype as Speed Dial and this works.

Thanks for the reply.

I have tried provisioning it like that and on V16U6 anyway setting the BLF as a BLF, Speed dial, or Custom speed dial and provisioning through 3CX does not change the DSS Key programming in the unit itself. I can make it work by manually programming it as a hot key, but I'd rather have 3cx do it through templated programming. It doesn't look like that is an option right now at least.
