Hello, I know the Fanvil v62 is supported. But I am wondering if the newly release V62W is supported?

Not currently, maybe in update 4

That stinks. We have a lot of interest in these phones due to WiFi and what not. Please add support.

You can get it to work with this custom phone template that Fanvil sent me. Upload it to Advanced > Templates > Phone Templates

Thanks @loyer. Unfortunately, it seems you can't use this phone as a router phone when on WiFi.

Wifi is certainly a problem. But you don't want to use this phone as a router via wifi, not really.

will this phone work for remote WFH users? will it work as a router phone for itself while on WIFI?

It is not a supported model, but the plain V62 is.

No - none of the supported Fanvil phones can be a router using WiFi.

I suggest a plain V62, with the latest 3CX firmware installed before you provision it.

The remote user must connect it to their LAN.

@JohnS_3CX I thought your going to add support for the V62W.

Hi all,

Support for V62W is now available in V20 Update 5.
Kindly make sure to install the supported firmware before you attempt to provision your Fanvil device.
