Good Morning,
I have two Fanvil Phones (X3G) (registered as a X3SG). They used to work. I changed SIP Trunk providers and everything is setup correctly but I cannot get these phones to register. They look correct on the 3CX Side but when I did a factory reset on them and tried to register the SIP trunk to the phone that is where I get the stupid... "Failed with 403". It seems that the Fanvil company has a very poor view of customer service and there is virtually nothing out there that can help figure out the issue. I have done the following:
1) Updated the firmware
2) Factory reset (before the firmware update)
3) followed their admin portal setup via a very poorly done YouTube video (no explanation just typing in items) No idea where the username and username password comes from...
4) entered my local SBC data for the registering server (since it has to be local)
5) verified the authentication ID and password from what I have in the 3CX setup...
So I am still getting this error -- which if someone know what that error means I think I could figure this out. Very confusing and if I knew there was such a lack of support for these phones I would have purchased something else. Very frustrating.
Any guidance to some other forums or good support material for these phones would be helpful.
