Any update on the X4U-V2, phone locking up after a few days, only when configured as a router phone. Workaround is to schedule a daily reboot from the phone UI. Is there a new firmware version to correct this issue?

What is the current firmware version that you are using?

How many extensions are using this as their SBC? BLFs per extension?

Each phone is it's own SBC phone to avoid having any phone or phones rely on another for registration

Are we talking about one specific device by the way, or you have this happening to multiple devices?

All devices. Basically the phones configured as SBCs work for about 2 or 3 days before they become sluggish and unresponsive. I can press the voicemail key and it will take 19 seconds or more before i get a response. I cannot process outbound calls or receive them until the phone is rebooted. It will work for the same 2 or 3 days until i get the same unresponsive result. I actually contacted Fanvil directly and they recognized the issue stating a new firmware version will be released. This was 3 months ago. See response below, this was 3/24/25, have gotten no response when following up

From Fanvil website I see they did release an update end of last month, so it should be in the pipeline.

We are seeing similar sluggish behaviour with the Fanvil V64 at the moment.
Sometimes it comes good with a reboot, but we have opened a request with @Fanvil Technical Support about this too.

I also have experienced the same with most of the XU-V2 range

We have reverted back to Pi SBC's for any location with more than 1 device, only use the built in SBC when absolutely necessary, i.e. someone wants a desk phone at home at short notice etc.

Hopefully will be fixed soon.
