I have a client with a Fanvil x6u v2 phone acting as the SBC for a total of 6 other phones including itself. All the phones work fine except the SBC phone (ext 100). Ext 100 has a huge delay when picking up and making calls.

Any idea what could be causing it, and how to fix it? Even with zero usage on the phone system and it being the only phone making a call, the issue occurs.

i'm noticing issues with X5U-V2s with extreme delays answering calls. My deployments are only X5U-V2s with each one acting as their own router phone. Answering calls are delayed, the web interface is slow and the delays get worse as time passes (days). A reset of the phone fixes it for about a 4-5 days then it slowly begins to progress to the point it takes 10-15 seconds to answer a call.

Yeah I've seen a few others discussing this exact bug for over a year now through various firmware versions. Reboot the phone and it works fine for a while, then eventually it slows to a crawl. We loaded the SBC onto another system and made the phone a regular phone and it's working fine.

Sighhhh...

I have this issue also. The only way to deal with this at the moment is to program the phone to reboot itself at a specific time. In the phones GUI go to Time plan > Timed Reboot. And set a weekly or daily reboot at a time you choose.

I have several Fanvil X6U-V2s set to reboot themselves every Sunday at 3am.

Interestingly I was going to ask a question about router phones, I was wondering if there were any drawbacks to having a full office of router phones configured just to act for themselves, i.e. is there any overhead on the customers connection to the cloud pbx, or any increase in demand on the 3cx server itself doing this (as it's managing lots of tunnels). Obviously having read this thread I'm going to stick to pi's for now but would be interested to know ref my question as hopefully future Fanvil updates resolve this. Cheers, Dave.
