We are currently trialing the 3CX system in house to see if it will suit our needs, however, I have a few questions for anyone regarding fault tolerance.
Our plan is to perform a backup of the VM to a secondary site, however I am wondering if the 3CX system supports active/standby failover, where if the network goes down, the second one automatically picks up the SIP trunk and keeps on going.
Otherwise our plan will be to backup the VM to a second location and just start the VM automatically when there is a failure.
