Call Manager: 3CX Ver. 3.1
Gateway: CISCO2811-V/K9 ISDN PRI
ATA’s: Linksys PAP2T
We have 10 fax machines that needed to connect to our 3CX system. We use a Cisco 2811 as our gateway but I see no reason it would not work with any gateway supporting T38. We have only begun testing with 3CX 5.1 but so far so good. Following is what is working for us.
Create an extension and DID line in 3CX as normal except: Make sure the “Supports ReInvite” box is not checked.
Enable the T38 support on the Cisco router with these configuration commands:
On the Linksys PAP2T line configuration page make the normal extension settings.
I believe the audio configuration settings are all default however below is what is working.
There are many posts on the Internet regarding adjusting jitter and echo settings with the PAP2T but these did not seem to make much difference for us. The main item was disabling Supports ReInvite in 3CX and turning on T38 on the gateway.

fax protocol t38 fallback pass-through g711ulaw
