Fax to email

I think I know the answer already so forgive me for asking if anyone knows for sure.
We use Ixica for our trunk provider. In the 3cx setup for fax it listed Ixica's capabilities as not compatible for fax.
Does anyone know for certain if that is current? Or if that applies to both incoming and outgoing?
I know faxing worked for us with freepbx, but looking at moving to 3cx and not sure if we are going to be able to maintain this capability...
Its a shame that I care at all, we rarely get any faxes besides junk, but we still do get the very occasional one.

If anyone knows for certain that would be really helpful. Thanks!

PS - Yes currently it is not working.. tried a free sending site online and it errored out on me.

3CX Support inbound FAX to Email only - for outbound FAX you require an FXS gateway:

Ixica's capabilities as not compatible for fax.

Please provider reference, if your trunking provider does not support T.38 for FAXing then you can simply move over to G711 Pass-through instead.

Glad to hear it is sorted, G711 FAX is usually the backup if your provider does not support T.38 as it sounds like in this case.
