Dear 3CX Team,
The absence of the %%CALLERNAME%% variable in the "Queue: Call is Lost" email template has been a recurring concern for users, as demonstrated in numerous forum threads (e.g., August 2018, April 2021, January 2022, September 2022). While %%CALLER%% shows the caller ID, having the caller's name is crucial for context and follow-up efficiency.
Many customers have requested this feature, and it has been highlighted as a significant improvement for operational efficiency. As the caller's name is already usable in different Mail Templates, it seems like a simple addition to the template, yet it remains absent.
Given the simplicity of adding this variable, can the development team address this long-standing request? Additionally, clear communication regarding why this feature hasn’t been implemented yet would be appreciated.
Thank you for considering this request.
Best regards,
