Feature Request - OKTA Integration
We would like to see 3CX directly integrated with OKTA and not through the current process of first integration with Microsoft and then OKTA. This approach overcomplicates and compromises security, creating unacceptable vulnerabilities and difficulties in management and troubleshooting.
We use Okta to manage and secure user identities and access across various applications and devices. One of our most vulnerable systems is 3CX and we are unable to leverage OKTA to help secure this application. OKTA provides us the tools for single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), API Access Management, user lifecycle management, and more, enabling us to control access and secure our digital assets. Within our organization we have integrated OKTA with existing systems including our Active Directory (AD) and LDAP.
You created 3CX 20 to increase security and ensure continued development. My company operates with a federated support model with security and access control, being one of the few places where we deploy global tools such as OKTA. As a result of our company’s structure, we have 10+ site based 3CX systems and we would like to take our security and management of 3CX to the next level by integrating 3CX into OKTA.
I have seen a post from as far back as 2017 requesting OKTA integration and I hope that now with the new platform you are able to take the steps necessary to integrate 3CX with OKTA.
