Hi,

i registered a hosted 3cx instance for testing purposes, and it works well - when connecting from home or from a mobile network.

But i am going to use the 3cx for a small company that is using ASP, so firewall and terminal server environment are managed by an ASP provider that does not know anything about 3cx. Connected to the company's LAN, the connection (by softphone and smartphone app) to the hosted 3cx fails. Which configuration has to be applied to the firewall? The manuals describe the configuration when placing the 3cx in the local network, but hosted?

Hope somebody can clear it up

Since the apps use the tunnel, only TCP&UDP 5090 outbound should be required. Same goes for the SBC which is required for deskphones when using an Hosted by 3CX.

Are they on a locked down network?

@katja01 from the network you are in to now, can you open the Management Console of the PBX ?
Traffic must be allowed outbound from this network towards the PBX if there is strict outbound policy.
Please check this as a first step and also port 5090 TCP and UDP.
