Firmware file for H-Tek UC912E is broken

The latest firmware file for the UC912E is broken. The phone does not accpt it and it has a Name that does not fit. fw900m.rom is incorrect. The firmware for this Modelis always called fw912e.rom. Supposedly this is firmware release 2.0.4.6.47 while the latest realease available from HTEK claims to be 2.0.4.6.15 and has the correct filename. Any clues ? WHen I try to upload the fw900m.rom file it gives an error in the phone that it is faulty.

You will notice in the manufacturer's site the rom zip says if your 912E phone version number is 2.0.4.4.XX, please upgrade the corresponding fw912E.rom version first and then upgrade fw900M.rom

If your phone firmware is too old, often manufacturers will not let you upgrade unless you perform the previous upgrades first.
