If you use the following rule instead of what is mentioned in the article each model phone can get its own firmware.
<Upgrade_Rule group="Provisioning/Firmware_Upgrade">http://%%pbx_ip%%:%%pbx_http_port%%/provisioning/$PN.bin</Upgrade_Rule>
The $PN will be replaced with SPA5XXg by the phone. For example on the 504g you just need to copy the last firmware to spa504g.bin and place it in the provisioning folder.
