Hello everybody, thanks for this beautiful site.
I am testing my first 3cx pbx, and trying to set a test trunk with webcalldirect.
First of all, Firewall test is OK (100%). I was trying to set a webcalldirect trunk, and it doesn't register (register fails), I am trying it with my
actual user/password which I can use correctly via web (and I can use it in another old pbx that is running). What exactly are the parameters to set a webcalldirect trunk for outgoing call test in 3cx? (sip.webcalldirect.com). Thanks in advance.

I strongly recommend you use a supported provider instead. It's much easier to configure and use and is more reliable.

Thanks Frederick, but I only wanted it for making some tests, as a first trunk to see if I was able to make an outbound call. After that, we have to connect to a Cisco Cube (provider's device). Besides this, we will have to use a little Cisco SPA with analog line, as another trunk. Did you tested that?
I saw some users here making calls with a webcalldirect trunk, but I couln't register it...

Best regards and thank you for replying.

It might help, if you posted the 3CX Activity Log, of an attempted registration, in particular, what (error?) is being returned from the provider.

Hello leejor, from Activity log:
10/19/2020 7:10:45 PM - [CM504005]: Registration failed for: Lc:10000(@trunk Test xxxxx[<sip:[email protected]:0/TCP>]); Cause: Cause: 408 Request Timeout/REGISTER from local

Where xxxxx is an account name...

Thanks in advance

The log would not seem to indicate that you are even reaching the provider. I would normally expect to see the providers IP in there after, there had been a DNS lookup. Might it be a DNS issue?

Sorry for the delay. I was configuring extensions and dealing with SPA501g. Now that I tested them, i will continue with sip trunks. I tried with sip.webcalldirect.com ip = 77.72.169.131 and I can see this log no:
10/23/2020 7:31:00 PM - [CM504005]: Registration failed for: Lc:10000(@trunk Test xxxxx[<sip:[email protected]:0/TCP>]); Cause: Cause: 503 Transport failure: no transports left to try/REGISTER from local
Thanks for your time

So it would appear to be an issue with 3CX "seeing" your LAN connection. Does the machine have multiple Ethernet ports, that may be causing a problem?
Do you have other trunks, on the same hardware, that are registering correctly?

Hello leejor, yes! LAN is ok. Phones register ok, and I have just registered a spa3102 for testng an analog line.
Thanks for your help.

Check your DNS server information. Does the 3CX Firewall Checker all pass?

Yes!!! First of all, before starting to configure, I configured my firewall, until test was ok 100%.
Thanks for replying.
