Occasionally when trying to make an outbound call we are getting "call forbidden" from the provider. This only seems to happen when there is reasonable volume on the system.

The error from the log is:
07/10/2018 4:43:33 PM - Exception: ParseException E:\jenkins\workspace\15.5SP5\SPBuild\Sources\3rdParty\Resiprocate\rutil/ParseBuffer.hxx:230, Parse failed unexpected eof in context: 91303XXXXXXX ^ @ E:\jenkins\workspace\15.5SP5\SPBuild\Sources\3rdParty\Resiprocate\rutil/ParseBuffer.hxx:230

We are using a trusted local SIP connection. Majority of the calls are fine.

Hi jmatano,

I cannot see the SIP response documented here. If you are getting a 403 forbidden then this is a client side response, please specify what you are getting exactly.

403 forbidden means that the server understood the request, but is refusing to fulfill it. Sometimes (but not always) this means the call has been rejected by the receiver.

If it were me I would run a PCAP trace and try and get a capture of this message.

Hello @jmatano

You can also check the Activity log of the PBX that should provider more details as to why this happens.

I had this recently and was mystified by the "E:\jenkins\workspace\15.5SP5\SPBuild\Sources"
in the Activity log.
Was a rule that had become invalid since I had dropped a test SIP trunk.
The rule still existed for my extension but since there was not route - the call failed.
My guess is the path error is a glitch in the build - as of course no such path on my server.

Don't worry, you may ignore it, that's a development/build path, has nothing to do with your machine.
