Force outgoing call show custom number on receiver phone

Just to clarify:

When calling out of one of your 4 trunks, you'd like to have the call display a custom number on the called party's phone? Do you want each outgoing trunk to have it's own unique number to display?

I know that, at least with the provider's I've used in the past, that you can only use a number on your outgoing calls if the number you want to use "belong" to you. You can set this number at the trunk's settings, in the "Outbound CallerID" (example <123456789>).

I've also seen that with some providers you get settings such as "I'll provide CID" where they sometimes force a specific number on their side.

It not working for me. it still show my trunk number not custom number that i just set.

Check if you have fromuser into your config trunk.
If yes : comment this line : ;fromuser=xxxxxxx
Otherwise, maybe your Telko doesn't accept to change your CID by any other numbers that your SIP account.

For example; My Telko accept ony "hidde" or my CID number + alias. That's all.

Just an idea like that.

Yes, fromuser is not a parameter for Dahdi.
Did you try to check your config file?

If you use zap trunk (Dahdi) then you have some settings for Dahdi.
In this case you have some config file to setting up these parameters.
Maybe there's something wrong here.

Do you use BRI access?
Maybe try to find a way to see the event logs or read the traces sent to the Telko.
Just to watch if you see your callerid number.
If it's sent, then your Telko drops this number and replaces it by the head number.

At first it's not to add some parameters but it's to check them before to add (if needed).
I thing that:

/etc/dahdi/*
/etc/asterisk/dahdi_channel.conf

If it's not eay for you, start to check if your new cid number is sent or not befor.

At first to be clean, you need to setting up only one context instead of two.
In your config, you have
context=from-trunk and some lines below
context=default
For me, the second context voids the first setting.

Excepted this, it looks like right.

Yes sure.
Default is a context used by a default setting.
So, it's normal to change it by from-pstn or from-dahdi or else (context used by Elastix).
You may change from-pstn to from-dahdi and make some test if it doesn't work using from-pstn.
from-dahdi is newer context than from-zaptel.

The most is using "Dial Patterns that will use this Route" in Outbound Route setting. If you want extension 1xx (x is from 0 to 9) will display the number of the outbound route A, just put [1]xx in the Caller ID field.

If you want to use the same for 2xx extensions, the input in Caller ID will be [12]xx

If i understood well, this issue was for sending a specific caller id number when he make a call.
If the field "Outbound CallerID" doesn't work, then the problem may come from the Telko.
