HI,
I have a sip trunk that is forwarded from one provider to another provider into my 3CX.
Incoming caller number is not from the original caller but from the forwarded trunk.
How do i dipslay the original number that called into the system ?
Hi
@BlueBeans,
Thank you for your message and welcome to the 3CX forum !
Easiest would be to use the « 302 move temporarily - diversion ».
But before helping you with "Diversion" or "Call Forward" please answer his questions;
1. What is the name of your SIP Trunk provider ?
He Supported ?
2. Why is PBX 3CX doing the call forwarding ? And not use the call forward from provider directly ?
3. Your SIP Trunk provider does support
302 Diversion ? ( If call not answered )
4. Your SIP Trunk provider does support
Clip No Screening ?
5. What is the end goal of call forwarding ? The 3CX PBX is only used as a call forwarding ? No IVR ? No Queue ? Please describe step by step the routing of a call until it is answered by the final destination.
Questions #3 and #4, if you do not know the answers, contact your SIP Trunk provider to obtain their answers. It is essential to have all the answers to better advise you.
