Hi all,
i'm testing 3CX system with very good result 8) with 3 PSTN lines on Grandstream GXW 4104, 3 extension with HandyTone Series - Analog Telephone Adaptors and 3 Voip Providers.

i have a question:
Can i forward an incoming call to another line registered on my 3CX and dial the final number?
example:
line 1 PSTN
line 2 VOIP
990 Extension digital receptionist

i call my voip number on registered line 2 and answers my digital receptionist with extension 990...
now my digital receptionist must ask me:"dial the final number!"...
i digit the final number and the system routes the call on line 1.

is it possible to goal this result?
any idea?

thanks in advance

Best regards from Italy

Hi Netmatika!

Unfortunately this is currently not possible. You can forward calls to numbers on the PSTN, however they must be pre configured on the system. ...

To elaborate on what Nick said.

Dialing the numbers is not possible (as yet :-)) but you can forward the numbers using the IVR.

You need to pre configure the numbers in the IVR first like
Press 1 ---> [number]

etc
that can work, as long you have enough ports and not routing on the same incomming.

But I am not sure if that is where you are after, but might be a good interim solution.

Nick,
This would be a nice feature to add later (hopefully sooner).

Forwarding calls

Hi all,
thanks all for your reply...
waiting this feature in the nexts releases of 3CX i add my new test :)

at my GXW 4104 on my 3rd port FXO i've registered extension 200 (for example) instead of a line...
good result:
on incoming call i forward to extension 200 and i hear newly free line(3rd FXO port) :)
bad result:
i can't insert this line in outbound rules :(

thank you

Netmatika
