Forwarding Rules - External number AND mobile

@YiannisH_3CX any ideas as to why the ring group isn't following the forwarding rules?

I will have to look at your configuration and support files to see why this is not working.
Please set the logging level of the PBX to verbose by navigating to Dashboad /activity log /settings and restart all services.
Replicate the issue and the click on support and generate the support info file.
Send them to me in a personal message. You will need to upload the files to a web sharing service and send the download link

@YiannisH_3CX whilst prepping to submit everything over to you, I deleted all the ring groups, dummy extensions and forwarding rules and did it all again.

I figured out why the forwarding rules weren't working.

On both dummy extensions I had "Announce Caller (Rebound)" enabled.
When enabled, calls from ring groups seem to be completely ignored.
Obviously when disabled, it all functions correctly - annoyed I didn't figure this out earlier.
@Luis Londono did you also have it enabled?

Just to clarify:
All dummy extensions are set to status away.
All dummy extensions have forwarding rules under the away status.
All dummy extensions are configured to accept calls from ring groups.

So now the question remains...

How do I forward the call to a mobile device whilst announcing/screening the call to ensure that the VM/out of service doesn't pick it up and ruin the flow of the ring group?

I am glad you are able to figure out the issue. As i have mentioned in one of my previous posts the functionality you want cannot be achieved with rebound as if the first forwarded call goes un-answered the rebound option will send the call to voicemail. This is why i proposed the way i described although as i have mentioned this is not exactly what you are after.

@YiannisH_3CX thank you very much for your help and patience on this.

I must say - it's extremely disappointing that what *I* would call a basic call flow cannot be achieved with 3CX at this moment in time.
We've got quite a few clients that need to push calls out towards mobiles and have them correctly answered. Something the free "competition" has been able to do for quite some time... Everything has it's pro's and con's though.

You could always suggest this in the Ideas forum. Perhaps something that could be enabled per ring group. I could see a lot of issues arising if it were made a global option.
