FQDN Change

I was researching changing the FQDN of a system and came across this article: https://www.3cx.com/docs/fqdn-management-allocation/
It appears, however, that the functions described in the article no longer work. Can someone please clarify?

Hi, Regarding your question, to release the FQDN from a key, the portal.3cx.com must be accessed using the email address of the registered owner of the subscription, the system is installed with.
