Help please

Can anyone please assist with 3cx configuration for Fortigate Firewall.
The DNS record is not updating and the Firewall checks are failing even though I have opened all the necessary ports.
The SIP server is sitting locally behind the Firewall which is on NAT mode, can anyone advise how to go about configuring the Fortigate.
I have disabled the Sip helper and configured the SIP ALG to - 'set default-voip-alg-mode kernel-helper-based'.
I removed the SIP session helper and configured it as below.

set sip-nat-trace disable

Please advise if the any other configuration I need.
For local extension both inbound and outbound calls are working but the softphone apps are not even registering.

This is my first configuring a Fortigate Firewall.

Please help!!!

I am getting the below errors from the SIP server so I am not sure why.

Please assist

Hello @ThaboZ,

You mentioned 3 seperate problems above, let's start with just one: Firewall Checker failed. Have you followed this guide and can follow it once more to ensure it's configured correctly?

Here is a list of the ports used by 3CX to assist you.

Hello VasilisV

Hi VasilisV

Thenk for the response

I have just opened the ports.

OfficeForti # config system setting

OfficeForti (settings) # set sip-helper disable

command parse error before 'sip-helper'
Command fail. Return code -61

I am getting the above error when trying to disable the sip-helper.

I have already deleted the session helper from the list though.

Where do I go from here,

Thank you
Regards

Hi @ThaboZ,

The guide was written a little while back and it may not have been written with your exact model in mind, so at this point the best solution would be to contact a 3CX Partner for assistance.
