As i am currently reinstalling my on premise 3cx pro i would like to change the 3cx fqdn as well for one with my own domain.

So i am scheduling this after hour :
-I did a complete backup without the licence key/fqdn infos.
-At the schedules time, i will go to portal then click release fqdn, then i will be starting the reinstall process.

First question, Since my domain is avf.qc.ca, will i be able to create a 3cx.avf.qc.ca fqdn even if it start with a number ?
Knowing that certificate for this previous fqdn are already prepared, and dns propagation is already done, should i expect any other downtime other than the reinstall time ?

Yes, you can use 3cx.avf.qc.ca as your FQDN.

You will need to add the correct A records in your DNS Control panel to point to 3CX Wan address.

You will also need to create your own ssl certificate for 3cx.avf.qc.ca
