GAMMA SIP trunk registration

Hi

I have a query regarding a GAMMA SIP trunk.

I've recently ported all our DID numbers from ISDN to a GAMMA SIP trunk and have had quite a few issues when making/receiving external calls

Should it show as registered in the image below?

• 3CX Version, Professional Annual 16.0.16
• Server OS, Windows Server 2012 R2
• Is the 3CX Server Hosted and where? e.g. On-premises
• IP Phone Make/Model/Firmware version, Cisco
• Provisioning Method: Local
• Trunk Provider or VoIP Gateway Make/Model, GAMMA
• Has the Firewall Checker passed: YES
• Are custom Phone Templates being used: NO

It is registered, as you have a green icon.

Have you followed the 3cx setup guide - https://www.3cx.com/docs/gamma-uk-sip-trunk/

What issues are you having, have you checked the activity log for errors ?

Thanks for your reply. I have been reviewing the event & activity log for about a week now.

The main issue we are having today is below, in the event log it will regularly display this warning:

Gamma is an IP based provider so it will always appear as registered in the management console.

The first thing I would recommend is updating your PBX to the latest V18 version. There is a new template for Gamma in V18 which is not available for V16.
You will also need to update your Windows installation to install V18.
