Gateway Services does not start

Hi All,

On a Debian 12 installation the 3CX GateWay Service does not start and I see no errors in any log.
We allready did a clean install and restored a backup but the error is stil there.

What can we do to solve this?

Hello,

With servers in Verbose, nothing relevant is visible? Choosing to Start it from the Admin panel has it stay down? Do the system logs also show nothing?

Is this cloud hosted, locam VM, local machine?

Without more info, opening a ticket so the team can investigate directly will probably be the fastest way to figure it out.

Some basic checks to do is to verify server time is in sync, and to disable IPv6 if not using it in case it interferes with connectivity.

What should I look for in the log when it is in Verbose?

It is a local Debian 12 system on Hyper V
There is no IP V6. The installation is with the 3CX ISO

Download the support log info from the dashboard and look at the 3CXGatewayservice.log from the logs folder.

HyperV was set up as Gen1 type? Gen2 is not supported.

Any Error lines, I can't say for sure what exactly you will see as it is starting up on mine. From a normal startup I see plenty of lines mentioning "3CXGatewayService"

Edit: Specifically did Debian on HyperV (on win11 PC)
