Gateway with 8 FXO

Hello, we are planning to implement 3CX soon.

We have no option for SIP Trunks in our region, so I am planning to have a supported FXO gateway, but it seems the best we can have is 4FXO like Patton SN4141/2ETH4JO4V/EUI while we have 8 PSTN lines we need to connect.

Can we connect two Patton gateways to the same 3CX server and use the 8 PSTN lines?

The Patton SN4141 FXO you mentioned has an 8 port variant which you could use. But yes you could use 2 Patton gateways on the same 3CX server.
You will need to add both of them in the outbound rule though so if all lines are full on the first device calls will go out through the second one.

Thanks for the info, the problem is that we are unable to find SN4141 with 8FXO anywhere to purchase, found on eBay a max of 4FXO, also while in this situation I thought it may be better to have 2x 4FXO to prevent single point of failure with 1 gateway.

If anyone can recommend where we can purchase SN4141 8FXO I would appreciate it.

A quick Google search for "SN4141 8FXO" comes up with a number of vendors (most located in North America) that carry the 8 port FXO gateway. Searching for "SN4141/8J)8V/EUI europe" (which I believe is the model you are looking for), does come up with a few European suppliers.

However, since you have failed to mention where you are located, I have to assume that there may be some shipping, voltage,or import restrictions, making this more difficult.

Given the worldwide chip shortage, a lot of electronics manufacturers are experiencing, there may very well be limited stock at the moment.
