Solved Gear is missing from web client to access console. no outside access to console

I have a 3CX installed on vmware. i can access the web client but the gear icon is no longer there to access the web console from the client. I have permissions to do so and have the same set up on other 3CX systems and I see the gear icon and can access the console. I can also go directly to the console and log in from my other sites. if i try for this site it says below error. i xxxx out the url.

It seems you have set console restrictions on the system and not added the public IP from where you are trying to access the management console.

Login from an IP address that is allowed or locally to where the 3CX system is located, navigate to the Security node > console restrictions, and add the public IP for the site from where you have access issues.

First time I have posted anything on the forum. Charles_3CX, you are the man! that fixed it. someone on my team thought it would be a good idea to restrict console access and didn't tell me. thankyou!
