General Voicemail On Systems

We are new to 3CX and most of our clients use a general voicemail rather than individual extension voicemails. We have used FreePBX for years and this has been easy to do with them but I cannot figure out how/if 3CX can do it. I need calls when no one answers to go to this mailbox, and I need all the VM notification lights on all phones to blink for the same VM. Is this possible? If so, how?

So, what you need to do is, select all your extensions and hit EDIT

Go to the Forwarding Rules tab and change the drop-down for internal and external to forward to your dummy extension.

This will be a dummy extension used for your voicemail.




Note: this will send voicemail to email but will not flash on everyone's phone.

Users will have to A) get voicemail from email b) log in to extension via client c) call the voicemail of this extension. (call voicemail extension, press #, enter extension and PIN).
