Hi,
Need some assistance in configuring a generic SIP trunk on 3CX v11. Details given by the provider are noted below. Can someone help me in how to move forward on this. I was able to create a generic SIP trunk and register with the service provider. Not clear how to move forward after this.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kindly consider the following while configuring your PBX:
*For signaling: use IP : 172.17.84.36 ( SIP ) on PORT 5060
*For Media: use IP : 172.17.84.135 ( RTP )
*Regarding Numbering Format, use the following:
• For outgoing Calls :
The originating Number (A#), should be 9662510XXXX format.
The Destination Number should be 0NXXXXXX (N area code) or 00XXXXXXXXX (for international)
• For incoming Calls:
The Destination Number (B#), should 02510XXXX Format.
The originating Number (A#), will be 0NXXXXXXX or 00XXXXXXXXXXX Format
*Use Audio Codec's G711-aLaw ; G711-uLaw & G729
*Use T.38 For FAX
*set DTMF to RFC2833
*Make sure to reply with 200Ok for our OPTIONS messages ( ping messages for the SIP)
* configure the following SIP Timers: “Min-SE=1800 “’ & “Expires=300”
Your Number Ranges are:
9662xxxxxxx to 9662xxxxxxx (100 numbers)
Toll free number is:
800xxxxxxx
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Any documents / links will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
