I don't understand your query. Seems like you are making some incorrect assumptions. What is the exact problem you have? The latest iOS is on the app store

My understanding from this thread and the other thread I cited was that a new iOS update was necessary for use with v16 update 3, but that it hasn't been released yet. So if we update it will stop working.

No the current iOS works fine. The new release in a few months will require v16, that is all.

Guys this is terrible. You pushed out an iOS update and required that everyone be on the latest V16 in order for them to work. Let me translate that for you: YOU BROKE EVERYONE'S MOBILE APP. And there is no way to go back once an iOS app is updated. Seriously, who thought this was a good idea??? I was going to use 3CX for a few other clients and now I'm having serious doubts as to your judgement as a software vendor.

And something else, when signing up for a login on this thing, why do you make people enter their phone number in an international format? Nothing I entered worked.. couldn't do 011, +1, +011, 1. Nothing. Turns out you have to enter it exactly as +1 949.. (with a space between the +1 and 949, even though the example below the field shows +19491234567). Come on guys..really?

A couple of misplaced comments here:

1) The currently app works on V15.5SP6 and V16+ which are our officially supported versions, you should have no problem if you are on a supported version of 3CX. However, please be aware due to upcoming changes by Apple, we are forced to update 3CX to use HTTP/2 starting from V16 Update 5. At this point, you will need to update your iOS apps and PBX especially if you have iOS users. You can see the details here: https://www.3cx.com/blog/releases/apple-push-update-windows/

2) I may have misunderstood your 2nd point, screenshot example please?
