uaCSTA works fine with Gigaset. No Make Call necessary. I'm using newest firmware 2.39.0

1. Set CSTA User Agent in 3CX parameters

2. Enable uaCST in Template gigasetN870.fxs.xml or gigasetN670.fxs.xml

Set CSTA from "0" to "1" (around line 350)

The reason we have this value set to '0' in the template is because at the time of writing this response, there are complications on the 3CX side and having CSTA enabled in certain scenarios for this device could cause issues with your 3CX.

Until further notice, the 3CX recommendation is to have this value set to '0'.

When there is a development on our end that safely allows CSTA, will shall change the value in the default template.

Hi NickD_3CX,
I'm using this (on my own risk) for about 1 1/2 year. No problems so far in my use case (on premise, 2 N870 bases, all phones local).

It would be great to have Gigaset CSTA officially supported in 3CX.
