Gigaset N510 IP Pro

Hi everyone,

I would just like to point out that the guide on the N510 IP Pro has update language pertaining V20 (https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/gigaset-n510/ )
But we cannot add the DECT Base station on Version 20.0 Update 2 (Build 715 Release).
The guide asks to manually provide the Authentication ID, but since we cannot manually add the base station to the extension, it's not possible to obtain this, making it not possible to manually provision this base station.

Can this guide reflect that V20 does not support this base station or give us the possibility to add a "generic" phone object that just gives us the correct ID, username, passwords, etc.

The guide needs to be updated to be more clear for V20. But for now you have two options:

a) if you have a dedicated PBX hosted by you on premises, you can add and auto-provision the N510 but only locally, if the base and PBX are on the same LAN.

b) if not local (which is most people), you have to do everything manually yourself. Add a generic phone to each extension that will be used on the N510, and this will provide you with credentials to copy/paste
