Global Holiday query

Hi all,

Just to confirm something, bank holidays for your country in 3CX need to be manually added? E.g. Christmas, New Years, Easter etc.? I wanted to check on this as if it automatically accounts for Bank Holidays in the UK we have an extra one this year.

Is it the case that all Bank Holidays are manually entered at the start of each year? We have a number of 3CX customers whose offices would be closed for the bank holidays so just wanted to understand how that aspect works please.

Yes, all global holidays need to be entered manually , normally do this as the beginning of each year

3cx does not add them automatically for the region you are in.

Thanks Saqqara, much appreciated. We used a custom phone system set up before which automatically included bank holidays but it didn't seem to be the same so wanted to be sure. Will have to go through and set it for our customers.

This is true but you can set them to apply every year meaning you only have to set each re-occurring holiday only once:

Thanks, that'll be ok for Christmas and New Years although the others would vary each year so will have to enter them manually for all the customers.

Well in that case yes, you would indeed have to add those each year you're right.

There's no immediate plans for this but you could maybe have a look through our Ideas Section to check if anyone posted this or something similar as a feature request so that you can up vote it.
