Global Phonebook in Multi Tenant mode

Hi,

We are using 3CX V20 in multi tenant mode, but I have a problem with global phonebook (Admin->System->Phonebook).
Our customers is divided by departement system, but I can't limit a contact to a particular customer / departement.
The field departement (in contact editor), is purrely informative, and my contact is received by all customers / departements in global phonebook.

Is there a way to limit contact to a custumer / departement ?

Hi, currently there is not a phonebook for each department, you may need to use personal contacts instead.

Ok, so 3cx is not really Multi-Tenant...

Could you tell me what is the usage of Mobile field on User page ? Is it to add mobile phone to team contact ?

There you can set the user’s mobile number, so you can forward calls to his mobile or enable the ring mobile simultaneously.

If it is set, you can also right click a user on the Team page, and "call mobile."

+1 for this request. If 3CX is planning to discontinue 4SC licenses as mentioned, this is a very important feature needed.

The department phonebook feature needs to be implemented extremely soon – not just 'soon'.
With the 4SC no longer counting for resellers, we cannot sell smaller deployments without this feature. This is a critical requirement, and waiting indefinitely is not an option!

I can assure you that our team is not taking this lightly. There is a lot to do on the back end in order for this to happen. It is considered to be a MAJOR change to the architecture of the system.

We are all looking forward to the upcoming changes in the reports and the phonebook, and we will just have to be a bit more patient.

No ETA - so if this is important to your customer, you will need to use 3CX Pro or Enterprise on dedicated instance.

Update 6 focussed more on the reports. Something that is considered a bit more important than the phonebook. The phonebook is still in the pipeline, nothing has changed on that front.
