Use 3CX MCP to connect your AI and PBX data, creating reports on questions that matter.

Standard 3CX reports cover the metrics most teams need day-to-day. But sometimes you need to go further. Which hours caused a drop in service level? Were abandoned calls caused by high demand or unavailable agents? Which call journeys involved the most...

Hi @KyriacosS_3CX Im interested in testing this..

I've got OpenAI set up as an MCP Client using a SO extension for auth.

When I asked "Compare Support queue performance by hour for the last 30 days. Show answer rate, wait time and abandonment, and highlight the three periods that need the most attention."

Im getting

"...the 3CX connector currently exposes only the current queue totals, not historical call-report data broken down by hour"

How does one give access to call reporting?

What user level did you use for the authorisation - the MCP connector inherits the user's rights. Also with OpenAI if you are not using a paid account it may limit which of the MCP tools it calls.

I was using SO then had a DUH moment.

Set it back up with an Owner and asked again and it says

"I found the Support Q as queue 803, but the connected 3CX Reporting integration still does not expose historical queue call/report data. Its available reporting actions currently stop at queue discovery and current agent statistics, so I cannot calculate the last-30-days hourly answer rate, wait time, or abandonment without inventing figures."

@Alphabetic I am going to try it out with OpenAI too, but this is what I got from Gemini, for calls that are mostly from last year.

@Alphabetic , when doing the authorisation, did you check the box to bypass Admin Console restrictions?
