I recently started helping a reseller whose technical person is no longer available. They ran into an issue with a client where the phones started to lose registration. Upon getting into the management console, I discovered that the IP had been changed to dynamic. The instance is on Google Cloud, but there are no tags or other that I am able to locate that point me to the VM instance that supports the client. All the instances (21) indicate static IPs, but which one belongs to the client is the question? Unfortunately, the client was pretty lax about registering the keys to their reseller account or keeping any kind of records. the reseller account only has 7 keys listed so I do not know the FQDNs for the keys not listed.
Am trying to see if there might be a way to determine which instance belongs to which clients without having to go around trying to use what should be the public IP to see if I can get lucky and access the management console when I am uncertain about which credentials to use for a given console.
Thanks in advance for any input.
