Gradwell and Gamma SIP Trunks used in the UK

Hi, I am in the process of testing 3cx to replace our ageing Avaya system.

We have 8 Gamma SIP Trunks but am wondering whether to switch to Gradwell as they are the preferred supplier from 3cx.

So my question is does anyone have any experience with Gradwell SIP, are they reliable, anything to consider in the port process?

Or would you recommend I stuck with Gamma, on a price point Gradell comes out less than what we currently pay

I have used both providers and they both (in my opinion offer the same sort of service) so would personally go on the price point.

I know Gamma are an IP authentication SIP trunk provider only where (If I recall from the past) Gradwell may offer both IP and Registration based authentication (this can offer some flexibility).

I skipped over Gradwell as they seemed to charge for 'calls' whereas with Gamma pretty much everything was inclusive (except for non-geo and some mobiles).

Although I have to say I didn't find it easy to decipher pricing without speaking to someone (which I chose not to do).

The Gradell rep I have spoken advised we can have bundles as well but the bundle prices are not on their site.

Yes, that's what turned me off from them - no prices on the website and not easy to get prices out of them.

When will companies get it that if you don't put transparent pricing on your website you turn a lot of customers (particularly ones that need to assess a large number of providers quickly) away...

That said, Gamma were the same but at least they responded to an email with prices rather than wanting to give me the full sales 'experience' .

FWIW I've found Gamma to be faultless so far and their support in particular have been very good which, in itself, is worth a lot to me.
