I've been trying to figure this out for a while and have read a few other topics, but I just wanted to confirm. Is there no way to change ringtones without going to a custom template? No matter what I change the ringtones to in the phone settings in 3CX it's still set to ringtone 3 on the phone which is the worst one!
If I change it on the phone itself it still does ringtone 3 since that is what 3cx is telling it. Why have settings in 3cx if they don't do anything, or what am I getting confused over? Base ringtone says for outbound calls, queue ringtone is for queue calls of course. So the base ringtone changes should work since it's outbound calls coming in, right?
Oh, this is for outbound calls coming in direct. Small business so we just have it set to a ring-group ext 500 and it rings all phones.
