We have been experiencing some random issues with our Grandstream GSC3510 SIP speakers when sending out multicast pages. Users sometimes report that they cannot hear all-call announcements or music from their speakers. The green light always comes on, indicating that the speaker is receiving the multicast signal, but nothing ever plays out of the speaker.
Rebooting the speaker seems to fix the issue practically all of the time and reprovisioning seems to fix it most of the time.
The speakers are on firmware version 1.0.3.11, which I understand is not officially supported in 3CX (we had to jump to that version to enable certain features, like the ability to disconnect a call when the call button is pressed again).
We have IGMP snooping enabled on all of our switches and we were able to verify group membership for the speakers listening on different multicast addresses, so snooping seems to be working just fine to limit the multicasts to only those clients needing it. We also tried disabling IGMP snooping completely (per another user's recommendation in another post). That didn't seem to help either.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated; thank you!
