Grandstream GXP 2170 Increase shown description

Hi All,

I was wondering if there is anywhere in the system or the phone locally which can increase the displayed extension and the name on the phone to more then the extension + 6 character without the "...." at the end.

Hello,

There are no options in 3CX that can control this. What you see on the provision page is what you get.

You can however look at the Grandstream manuals to see if there are any hints for this or other ways of doing it from within the the phone itself, but these screens are generally small so they manufacturers tends to automate the way the UI elements land in order to remain usable.

Use the "Use Long Labels" in the Settings > VPKs (phone's web UI.)

Unsure whether this is provisioned by the 3CX template or not.
