Hello guys,

i'm facing this problem: i cannot PnP provision all my GrandStream GXP1610 the phone does not show up in the phone list to be provisioned, this is the situation:

3CX V16.0.5.622 ( Debian ) 1 NIC on 192.168.1.208, static ip, static route to 192.168.6.0/24

GrandStream GXP1610 IP 192.168.6.2 FW 1.0.4.132

The networks are routed by some L3 (cisco) switches internally without any problem, i can ping the device from the server and if manually set the information the phone can connect and do calls.

Can you guys help me understand where i'm wrong?

Thank you very much.

The 3CX server and phones are on different networks, unless the Cisco switches is forwarding pnp traffic you will not see the phones appear in 3CX management console.

You may have to configure the phones first within 3CX management and use DHCP option 66 - https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/dhcp-option-66/#h.gkoruy6rqj4b

Hi Dynux,

Unless you allow the multicast to traverse the networks, then the management console will not show the phone and it cannot be done via PnP. You can try to enable it and test your provisioning, the different networks will not necessarily prevent you if they can reach each other
