I have a few Grandstream ATA devices (HT801's)

3CX provisioning link is configured as a DHCP option.

How can I make it so these grandstream devices do NOT auto-provision every time they reboot?
(Or how can I make changes to the provisioning file within 3CX for each device?)

Per Grandstream support - they are recommending setting changes, however every time I make them they switch back after a reboot & daily.

Should setting a static IP on these take care of it?

I have already tried removing the provisioning settings from a device and saving, and it still comes back
(removed the provisioning link, turned off 3cx auto provision, disallowed DHCP option to override the server, and skipping firmware checks)

Thanks!

You need to simply delete the device from your 3CX Console. It will keep the latest configuration and won't provision since the file won't exist anymore.

A static IP will not help you either.

Simply download de config file that 3CX generates then delete the device. Just edit that file and upload everytime you make changes.

By the way, those devices are pretty basic, why would you want to manually edit the configuration?

grandstream is recommending some changes to the FXS settings to help try and improve sending and receiving.

Disable-Call-Waiting: Yes
Disable-Call-Waiting-Caller-ID: Yes
Disable-Call-Waiting-Tone: Yes
Jitter Buffer Type: Fixed
Jitter Buffer Length: High
Disable Line Echo Canceller (LEC): Yes
Disable Network Echo Suppressor: Yes
Use First Matching Vocoder in 200 OK SDP: Yes
Preferred Vocoder: Choice 1 - PCMU

Also, I may try just putting my SIP provider right to the device and bypass 3CX. I have a software fax solution I am also testing, and that has had zero issues with sending and receiving via my SIP provider.

EDIT2: I do see conflicting reports on the jitter buffer length, some say fixed high, others say fixed or adaptive low, so I will have to test both.

I am also not sure if these settings are immediatly applied (ive been holding off on the reboot until I know how to not have it re-provision) or require a reboot for it all to change.

Those settings are in the template and can be modified the way I said.

That would be honestly the best. Fax over IP is really a 50/50 luck so go direct to the provider if it's just for 1 fax.
