Grandstream W820

I was wondering if anyone can help me out with this ?

I’m setting up a new phone

The phone is a Grandstream W820

what I’ve done so far is

• Got the template from Grandstream
• upload it to the phone server in the template folder
• set up the phone I followed these instructions https://servicemax.com.au/news/grandstream-wp820-and-3cx-setup/

This allowed me to get the phone working internally without any problems with the IP address.
Where I'm stuck is Remote Server
According to the instructions I just have to put in the external address and the port number which is https://myfqdn.3cx.co.uk:5001/ I have also untick ( Disallow use of extension outside the LAN (Remote extensions using Direct SIP or STUN will be blocked))

Hi,

Even though this model is not supported, theoretically any SIP-compatible phone could potentially work.

I think you made a mistake in the port though, the default SIP port is 5060 (whereas 5001 is reserved for other things like provisioning).

i have tried that port still no luck
