So I was confirming members in a ring group for a customer and noticed this when trying to sort by extension. Neither of the sorting options seem to to be sorting in ascended or descending order as one might expect. Sorting on the extensions page seems to work as expected. Anyone else seeing the same behavior?

Hello @cobaltit

Thank you for reporting this and bringing it to our attention. Technically here the issue is that extensions in Ring Groups and queues should not be sorted at all as the order of the extensions affects the polling strategies and i am assuming that this is the reason the entries are not sorted properly.
We have brought this to the attention of our development team so this can be fixed.

Hi Yiannish

Just to add a comment, filtering this by order is still very useful, when you have a large ring group, its a lot easier to check if the right users are added - I know this is a rare case, but its important that this isn't removed, but fixed - just to make sure :)

We had a case just 4 days ago, where we used this within a "setup meeting" with the customer, where we needed to check that it was the right extensions that were added :)

they actually asked why it wasn't sorted correctly :)

Thanks a lot :)

Hello @mortenjorge

Thank you for the feedback. Our development team will take all things under consideration before providing a solution to this.
A workaround for this is through the Add function of the ring group where extensions are sorted by extension number and you can use the search bar. Only extensions that are not members of the ring group are displayed there so it very easy to see if the correct extensions are added or not.

Hello @YiannisH_3CX

Thank you for the heads up - I know this feature :)

Just wanted to add a comment :)
