groups manager role

Hello,

We are using manager role for groups just for listening, barge in access.
With the update manger role, they are able to create extension etc.

How can I disable this? Maybe disabling the full admin tab in web-client would help.

What we need is such a role as it was before, one users and one users with listening option, former manager.
How can this be achieved?

Thanks! I´ve read this already.
So you´re telling me the new role-design change doesn´t have a group for listening but leaving admin tab completely aside?

Hi @kweisshuhn,

In case you want to create a role that will have barge in/listen in capabilities without access to the Admin Console, you can set the extension as 'User' and then change the rights for just the specific extension.(Management Console >> Users >> select the extension >> Rights tab).

In case you want the extension to be able to configure the Office Hours of the Group, the 'Receptionist' role will be more suitable, as it will have access to the Admin Console, but only to configure Office Hours.
