Hi,
I 'd like an advice for something related to a GXW4216 , This is my first time with brand and model GXW4216 , gateway is working fine but it seems to be slow in both ways , when you call there's a latency between numbers are sent and when it rings on destination. Same in the other way when you call an extension on 4216 it's slow to ring. When in call no problem.

Is there a setting to change to set this to be quicker than default setting, if so, do you know what and where to change?

Not sure if you can do it, but the nature of an analog FXS gateway means that you have to wait for the last digit to timeout or press # to send the call immediately.

You should look up their documentation and see if you can change the timeout.

I can understand, but for example I call 9 which is direct sip to extension 200, when I press green on phone to dial , dial tone is coming then i hear "9" dtmf dialled and after few sec I hear ring back tone in my handset but the callee is not already ringing . it really ring for first time when you almost heard 2 rings in handset.

It's the same when a SIP phone call to fxs gateway, in that case dialed number is already known so what can be reason to be so slow?

I will ask to GS support

GS support ask me to change SLIC setting in profile but they didn't gave me specific settings just to try randomly, really Pro.....
SLIC was default to USA, so I changed it to France but unfortunatelly no change . Do you have working analogic settings for France ?
actual settings are:

I'm afraid I cannot help with that part. Not sure why the SLIC setting would make a difference in the delay to be honest..

You could make use of the Activity Log to see where the delay is occurring...delay after last digit is dialed before Invite is sent to 3CX (Phone dialplan issue)? Delay from when 3CX receives the Invite, before connecting to the destination?

When you call an extension on the 4216 is the ringing message sent back immediately?

No all is delayed, when you call another extension, you hear the ringing return in the handset but the remote phone does not really ring until the 2nd ringing. When you ring an extension and hang up without having taken the call on the remote handset, it continues to ring even though the sender of the call is already on-hook.

The physical ringing signal on the called set is delayed only on calls to devices on the 4216, or from calls originating from the 4216 to devices on other ATAs?

This is when the Activity Log, along with a tool like Wireshark, can help figure out where the delay is occurring

If you can confirm that it is the 4216, that is causing delays, then it may be worthwhile pursuing the problem with the manufacturer, or, on their forum. If it is the device causing a problem, then you can't be the only one encountering it. Perhaps it is firmware related, or a setting (or combination) that is not obvious.

No it's even the case for SIP phones out ot 4216 scope.

If it happens on calls not involving the 4216, then there is obviously something else at play. Did this just start. or has the problem been there from day one? Is everything on the same LAN?

this is happening since first start of 4216 , so yes from day one, well pbx is cloud hosted and 4216 and deskphones are on same LAN behind SBC

You seem to indicate that this also happens on devices that are not on the 4216.

After hours, if you power down the 4216, and make some test calls on the remaining sets, is there still a delay happening?
If so, then it would not seem to be the 4216 causing the problem.

In that case, between the 3CX Activity Log ,and Wireshark, you should be able to determine where the delay is occurring. It may be a process of eliminating various network hardware.

What about a call, between two remote devices at a different location?

No delay at all on others phones out of 4216
