Solved GSC35xx - Phonebooks becomes bloated

Hi,

Just noticed that on my GSC that is used for pretty much testing only. The phonebook was around 1300 entries long. All duplicates.

It seems to be a simple misconfig in the template (see below). Can we get this fixed in the official template?

This should be set to 1 so that the GSC clears the contacts before downloading the new XML. Otherwise, it gets duplicates everywhere.

Can you suggest a way to rapidly replicate this?

If you go to the Device UI > Calls > Contacts > More > Download Contacts, you can trigger it manually by clicking "Download". If "Clear The Old List" is unchecked, you'll see the duplicates appear.

When checked, the list will only update and not duplicate.

Thanks for reporting this. We released a template update that takes care of the contacts duplication problem.
