guest room speed dial to voicemail

i am replacing a mitel phone system with a 3CX. the existing analog guest rooms have 10 speed dial buttons. *9101-*9110. i set up speed dial sip trunks with DID to route the calls to the appropriate location except for 1. *9104 calls the voicemail system so the guest can check their messages. how do i route this speed dial via DID 9104 to my voicemail system so the guest can check their messages without reprogramming 400 guest room buttons to dial the 3cx vm system 41000?

Can you please clarify... are you using the existing Mitel phones on 3CX, or routing calls from the Mitel over to the 3CX PBX via trunks?

i am reusing the existing cetis analog 10 button room phones connected to a 3Cx via grandstream FXs device. the existing 10 button room phones are already programmed button 1 *9101 through button 10 *9110. the phone system that the 3cx is replacing is a mitel 3300 which supports speed dial bins that can ring anywhere so in the mitel *9104 rings the pilot of the mitel voicemail hunt group.

Well something will have to convert the *9104, or whichever number you want to use, to 999, or whatever you have the 3CX Voicemail set to. The best way to do this would be to reprogram the phones, but, 400 is a lot to have to do.
You might try routing the speedcall number out on a loop trunk, one programmed to 127.0.0.1. Have it send 999 to come back into the PBX and route to voicemail. I can't be certain if it will include the extension number to take it to the correct mailbox, you will have to test it. It will use two call licences per call, so not ideal. But, if it works it will tide you over while you start in re-programming the 400 speed dial keys to dial the voicemail number directly.

i think we have a winner here. i did a similar mod to the dial plan on a grandstream to allow 0 calls in the past that converted 0 to 601.{<0=601>| x+ | \+x+ | *x+ | *xx*x+ } so it would look like this {<*9104=41000>| x+ | \+x+ | *x+ | *xx*x+ } Very smart KyriacosS thanks so much! Unfortunately it doesn't get around the fact the you have to reprogram the dialplan on 400 devices. Hopefully an upload will do it.
