To the 3CX team: thanks for a great product!! With no prior VOIP PBX experience I was able to get a system up and running in about 12 hours! (There were problems with the phone lines running into the gateway that made the installation take much longer, but that had nothing to do with 3CX and could not have been helped.)

I am using GXP-2000 phones. How does one configure the "MSG" button to get messages?

Also, in a related question, is there any way to enter a code to bypass the automated voicemail attendant. In other words, instead of entering 999, then waiting, then entering the extension number, then waiting, then finally entering the PIN and a '#'; is there a single string that could be entered to take one directly to that voicemail's in box?

Hi Randy,

The current version (build 2434) is no single string that could be directly to access voice mail.
You can able to dial 999 (default) => key in extension => PIN without "#" to access your voice mail.

To configure the MSG button, go to the web interface of the phone. On the Account tab that you have configured with your 3CX settings, type 999 (or whatever your voice mail extension is for people who may have changed it) into the field labeled Voice Mail UserID. That will let the MSG button work properly.
